While Cyprus is renowned for its fortified Commandarias and crafted unfortified blends of Xynisteri and Mavro, Anthologia is a fresh and unique addition to the island’s line of naturally sweet wines that use Xynisteri, Malaga, and Black Muscat, crafted as exquisite delicacies in limited editions.
Anthologia 2015 which is available in both red and white, exemplifies this artistry. It highlights a luscious blend of dried fruit flavors with a subtle touch of vanilla imparted by barrel aging.
Expect a symphony of concentrated exotic fruits, peach, a touch of passion fruit, dried apricots, honey, and soft caramel, all elegantly balanced by gentle acidity.
A shared trait of all sweet wines from Cyprus is that they are rare, crafted in limited quantities, whose delicacy makes for the perfect gesture of hospitality and represent the Island’s tastefulness for refined indulgence.
