Vintage Xynisteri
20 years have gone by between the first release and the 2023 Vintage of Petritis. In the very well versed words of Yiannos Konstantinou, the Kyperounda Winery venture did fulfill on its promising expectations, that of becoming a top benchmark for commercial winemaking in Cyprus, upgrading the image and standards way beyond the reputed, yet lack-luster ‘big four’ wine producers, which had out-grown the local wine sector into an undiferentiated winemaking industry. It is without a doubt a resounding success story, that as part of the Photiades Beverage group, the initial collective base of wine growers coupled with progressive winemaking and its estalished distribution network, has in 20+ years managed to surpass in market presence and appreciation.
